Luciadag, or St. Lucy’s Day, is celebrated today by Danish Christians with a corridor procession of candle-bearing young women dressed in white, led by a young “Lucia bride” wearing a crown or garland of candles. Hymn singing, especially about Santa Lucia, is an important part of the feast.
